Richard currently resides in Waco, Texas where he has lived for the last 2 years, after leaving his home in Houston Texas of 20 something years. He is a Christian speaker and missionary to several venues. A former drug addict, drug dealer, and alcoholic, Richard experienced God in a supernatural way in 2001 which left an indelible mark upon his life.
Later that year, as he pursued God's presence in his life, he felt a strong call to be a preacher of God's grace. In the same year he joined a college in La Marque, Texas. Richard graduated with the honor and title of "Student of the Year" in 2004 from Abundant Life School of Ministry. Richard plans on finishing his degree at Oral Roberts University. For 2 years (2007-2009) he ministered as the main speaker at New Wine Gathering in Bacliff, Texas. Richard operates through a unique teaching gift that allows him to deliver the revelation of God's Word with power, excitement, humor, simplicity, and anointing, while quenching the thirst of the mature Christian heart.

At the present he is seeking God for new direction as God opens new doors and while being ushered into new ministry dimensions as previously promised. He is currently writing a book and preparing for a full time traveling ministry. Rich is no longer in any kind of pastoral role. He will continue to pursue the possibility of planting a new Church in Houston TX, but has states, "Only if He wills".

"Kill Grace, Trample the Blood"
By: Rich Cohrs

A book about balance and truth of the new covenant of Grace while establishing a basis for Holiness as well (Grace without comprise of Holiness). Richard has studied the Word of God extensively and believes God has given him a sound biblical grounded message of living and walking in the middle of the road, where the Holy Spirit is calling out to the "ditch" Christians to unify and walk in the Spirit. He believes Christians, due to doctrine and lack of biblical application live in the ditches while the Holy Spirit is placing the works of God in the middle of the road. That is where the wounded lay and the priest walk by and do nothing. Ditch Christians loose opportunities to minster to needs while distracted with doctrine and disbelief.

Coming Soon: Projected in 2013

In the meantime check out his blog "In the CENTER of the Road!!".
