Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD......
All the great prophets and men of God you see in the bible reasoned with the Lord. They made petitions of Grace. They asked for things they did not deserve.

The scripture says to come boldly to the throne room of Grace. Many people confuse boldness with yelling or speaking loudly, making demands on a promise. That couldn't be all the more a lie. A bold speaker is not one that yells and gets excited, a bold speaker is one that is not afraid to speak the truth no matter the consequences, a man or woman of courage and integrity, a person displaying confidence.

King Hezekiah's health was determined by God Himself that the sickness that he was suffering was going to be the sickness that put him to rest for good. A prophet of God came to Hezekiah and spoke the bold sincere truth from God about the Kings coming death. The bold King turned over in his death bed and "reasoned" with the Lord. He reminded God of all the good things that he humbly did in his life. God listened to the reasoning of the King and spared his life for many many more years. God even sent the same prophet back to him to give him confidence and a sign of Gods Grace. God was faithful to His promise and the King did not die but instead recovered and lived the exact years that the prophet had spoken in his return to the King. (Isaiah 38)

God is neither a genie in a bottle nor is he a state lottery. He is a King and Master of Great Grace. Humility brings about greater grace in your life. How can I say this? Well the scriptures says it quite plainly. "But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, 'GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.' " (James 4:6). Hezekiah reasoned with the Lord and when he did he reminded God of his humble deeds that he accomplished during his reign in the name of the Lord. He reminded God of his extreme humility. God never extended his life because of the awesome good works but instead because he reasoned with the Lord and God had compassion. It said that he heard his prayer and saw his "Tears". God answered the plea of a humble man. Hezekiah wasn't yelling at the Lord like a bratty child, but instead cried out to the God for Mercy. God was moved with compassion as Hezekiah turned over in his promised death bed and "tears" flowed like a river. Sounds a little different than loud arrogant demanding prayer doesn't it? Hezekiah was a humble man and he prayed in humility. He didn't tell God that he didn't deserve death as if God owed him more days on the earth, but instead reasoned with God and pleaded with Him to spare His life. God gave a greater grace and extended the mans life 15 more years.

When you approach God with boldness remember that it is always and honor to be in the presence of the King of Kings. Like a disobedient and foolish child making rude demands to his father, the wise father does not answer. In the same way watch how you speak to the Lord, he opposes the proud but draws near to the humble, He gives greater grace.

"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Start by reasoning with the Lord, watch your sins wash away. Walk in Humility and pray in humility and watch how your reasoning is granted a Greater Grace.

So there is a severe epidemic spreading far and abroad. A disease that is airborne not yet given a name. A cancer-like gene that is spread from man to man by actions and words and monkey see monkey do. What is it? What causes it? Where and when did it start? How big will the outbreak be? Will it be the end of us? NO, we will rise to the occasion and say enough is enough. We will speak(YELL) to the mountain and say, "Go take a dip in the sea!", we will stand for what is right again. We will RISE UP!

Again what is it? How will we fight against it? Where is it's foundation so we can crush it? MEN it is within our hearts. It is a lack of passion. It is the pleasures of this world. Is it really a disease? NO I am afraid not, it is a way of life!

For a bowl of soup we have sold our birthright to Jacob. Every Christian must be born of both water and of Spirit, of both flesh and of heaven. In heaven there is neither male nor female, but on earth there is. On earth you have a birthright. On earth you are spiritual heads of the woman. Not higher in the form of spirit, but stronger in the form of flesh. And God has set you with a birthright to be strong and to be the protector, to be a spiritual Samson for the people of God. But the epidemic is that for the pleasure of this world we have sold our birthright to the women in the Church. They are not stealing it, but offered it by the hands of men. We have every right to be the leaders in our community but for passing pleasures and laziness we give up our rights. There is nothing wrong with women being in ministry, but if you listen to the cries of their hearts they are crying out for our wimpy generation, for real men to rise up. They want you to take the lead, some enjoy it, but others understand the birth right. They understand that strength is in numbers, BUT God ordained much strength in men. Men you have been entrusted with the gift of leadership naturally as you were born of water. You were entrusted with the gift of leadership spiritually as you were born again of Spirit. So both naturally and spiritually you are called to RISE UP! To be the leaders God has called you to be. We don't need to take our God given calling and give it away like Esau did to Jacob. And what was it for, a bowl of porridge. A passing pleasure. It is time to say NO to SIN and yes to the POWER OF JESUS!! It is yours for the taking, it is yours both Spiritually and naturally. You are a called warrior in Christ Jesus!! It is time for a Revolution of Men Rising UP!!

How will this happen? First take and examine your life. Is your job more important than the Kingdom of God. Is your Kingdom on earth more important than God's Kingdom here on earth. Are you to busy building a life for yourself instead of the Life Christ intended for you? Time is not something we can get back. Some say we have all the time in the world. But time is what is slipping away. You say next year you will rise up. You say when you are more financially stable you will be more active in the Kingdom. You say when your family is happy you will be happy. Life is like a vapor, it is only seen by the finest of eyes then it is gone in their twinkle. You can't do this tomorrow you have to do this today.

Proverbs 26:14 As a door swings back and forth on its hinges, so the lazy person turns over in bed. ((It is time to stop turning over and going back to bed, no more thinking about waking up but instead doing it))

Though you are out of bed and alert and full of energy and strength, you are still in slumber. We must Rise. We must awake. We must put of the deeds of the flesh that hinder our awakening. It is a calling from the deep of God to your deep right now. He is whispering with the winds for you to ARISE! Take the stand with us. Be a man! It is the Word of the Lord to our Generation!! It is the Oracle of Jesus that is being spoken. We must obey!

Romans 13:12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Ephesians 5:14-17 14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

We can all be more proactive as leaders. I am preaching to myself right now. Deeply convicted in many area's of my life, but I am going to strive to live the "Awakened Life in Christ", to be warrior, a soldier. A soldier is not concerned with the pleasures of this world but seeks to please the One that enlisted him. I will forever seek to please God who has entrusted us with our birthright. It just takes one of you in your sphere of influence to do the same. The same way the epidemic spreads and men fall asleep and slumber, is the same way the Awakening happens. One person can make a difference in many men's lives. Wake up and shine your light into their sleepy cracked open eyelids. One after another they will Rise. One after another they will Awaken to the Life of Christ. Set your self on fire and burn bright!! Glory to God in the Highest!!

Proverbs 15:1
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.

Even God's Word shouldn't be used with a brother or sister to stir up anger. If you are in a scriptural debate and you get angry, most likely you are not feeling the anger of the Lord that most people claim to be feeling (Godly anger, Fiery indignation, Passion for the Word). Most likely your feeling your own pride wanting to be right and wanting to have the last say so. You think your right, they think their right, but it doesn't matter in the end, cause when you use God's word in a debate neither one of you are now "right". Even if your opinion was the right opinion you are now wrong in the way you are delivering it. You have both become an enemy to the gospel, to the "Word of God". Sure people will always get offended at the Word of God because it says profound things that get people all shook up, but that is not what I am talking about. I am talking about your close nit family of the Lord.

Ephesians 4:26 says to "Be Angry", but "SIN NOT". That verse is one of the hardest scriptures to obey. How hard is it to actually be angry and not sin at the same time? Extremely! The next part of the verse says not to let the sun go down on your wrath, or your anger. So now it is saying to forgive. Let it go, be the man in the situation, or for some of you, the woman in the situation. Both parts of the verse leave us with a warning, that is is not good to be angry and if you are then you are in danger. What Danger? Danger of a bitter and wounded spirit. If you learn to forgive at the drop of a dime you will learn a GREAT secret of guarding your heart. Forgiveness is like a shield to you against the enemy. It protects you against bitterness and keeps you from getting wounded.

So now back to what I was first saying. A gentle answer turns away wrath (anger), but a harsh Word stirs up anger. So if you are warned to not be angry lest you fall into temptation of unforgiveness then why would you be the one giving the harsh words. Why would you be giving your brother or sister a reason to be angry and unforgiving. Think about what you are saying before you say them. If someone needs correction cause they believe the Word of God in error, then pray about it first before speaking. If God's Spirit is not directing you, then there will be no power in what you say. It is God's anointing that breaks the yoke. You need the Spirit that has been poured out on you to do the leading in these situations. God sets people free not you. It is His Spirit that brings freedom, not you. Remember God is not fighting His children, He is loving them. Don't be the advocate, be the avenue of God's Love.

Last thing I want to say, is that if your brother is sinning, and you feel it is your need to give a harsh rebuke. Just remember this, nobody is without sin. NOT EVEN YOU! Cast the first stone, and one day I am sure it will hit you right up the side of the head. LOL If they need to repent, God's goodness needs to be reminded to them.

New International Version (NIV)
Romans 2:1-4

1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

It is His GOODNESS or as in this translation it says, "KINDNESS"  that leads people to repentance. Fear brings deception, but Goodness brings revelation of God's love to a His child. Yes we should fear God, but there needs to be a balance of LOVE and GRACE. A reverential fear of God. Fear as in Respect, not the feeling of God is going to ZAP you for doing wrong.

Galatians 6:1
New American Standard Bible (NASB)

1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

And for those of you who feel it is your job to be the O so Powerful JESUS REBUKER, remember this verse. RESTORE in the SPIRIT OF GENTLENESS! You also are vulnerable to fall in the same sin. Don't think you are that spiritual. I did that once, and had to pay the price for years. When you think you are the purest then mostly likely that is your folly already. Season all your words with GRACE. That is the Word of God. Its not the HARSH NEWS, but the Good News!

Please read all the way through and read the Disclaimer as well!!!

Do you want to hear something profound that will shake your boots and make you want to throw stones at me? OK I will say it. "Jesus was the most RELIGIOUS Man of His days."

Make you mad yet. Jesus was Religious! Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes!! Tick you off yet. LOL Yes He was, you better believe it. There is PURE and IMPURE Religion, we too often are scared to even say the Word RELIGION anymore, but the truth is we are suppose to be religious, not like the religious leaders of Jesus days but like the Religious leader that Jesus was in His days on earth. Pure and undefiled.

James 1:27
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained [a]by the world.

People quote this verse left and right and all they get out of it is that it is pure to visit the orphan and widow. Then they make a muck with it by pretending to genuinely care outwardly by their speech to others about the orphan and the widow in order to make others think they are pure. We see this all the time. Doesn't mean they are bad people just means that they have forgotten the last part of the verse indeed.

"...To keep oneself unstained by the world." The Contemporary English Version says, "...and not let this world make you evil." Wow, now that is profound. The Amplified says the word, "uncontaminated", as in contaminated with filth or poisonous material. So to be religious is or almost the opposite of what most in the Church perceive as religious. We see the religion of certain denominations and we say they are religious. Yes we are right about that too, but it is only the impure form of religion. The Pharisees were indeed the religious leaders of Jesus days but Jesus said to the multitude this statement.

Matthew 23:3-39
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
3 therefore all that they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they say things and do not do them.

You see Hypocrisy was the Pharisees cup of tea. They were good at it. They were like coffins full of dry bones and they didn't even know it. They looked down upon the downcast of those days, such as the poor, leapers, the sick and the hurting. They wouldn't lift a hand for them instead they demanded everyone's attention as if they were the Greatest in the Kingdom. The exact reason why they wanted Jesus dead, cause the peoples eyes were enraptured with the glory that came with Christ. Their eyes were off the leaders and on the Majestic Ancient of Days, Jesus Christ. Jesus was stealing their show.

Our Lord said do all that they tell you to do, but don't do what they do. So what I am trying to say is that being religious isn't like being a Pharisee or about visiting the orphan and widow. Its about doing the commands of God. The Pharisees had mostly good doctrine they just didn't have revelation that comes from knowing Jesus and they didn't obey their own words either. Most people don't mind saying the word Pure and undefiled religion and then defining it as visiting the orphan and the widow, but that is not the definition, instead that is just two examples of a huge list of things that are pure.

Galatians 5:16-18
New King James Version (NKJV)
Walking in the Spirit

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

So here is the deal. If you Walk in the Spirit you will not fulfill the Lust of the flesh. You will not be spotted by the world. You will not be contaminated or stained by the world. You would not let this world make you evil. So being led by, or to Walk by the Spirit as Galatians put it, is the answer to being Pure and Religious. Yes there it is again, being religious, I said it again. Most people want to be led by the Spirit all the time, they want to learn to walk in the Spirit, they WANT to BE RELIGIOUS! They want to be religious they just don't know it yet. They don't know that being religious is what Paul strives for when he says, "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." Our goal is to be Pure Religious Zealots. Zealous about Jesus and about the Kingdom of God. You don't do this on your own, but you have to have fellowship with God, with His Spirit in order to be one that is led by His Spirit. It is almost like learning to swim and your instructor is the Spirit of the Living God, except His Spirit will never leave you nor forsake you, unlike an instructor that is there solely to train you.

Next time you are about to say this statement, "It's not about Religion, its about Relationship" I am sure you will understand that it is quite the oxymoron. It is one in the same. You can't have a relationship with the Lord without being religious. Having a relationship with the Lord is what makes you pure, it is what cleans you and makes you holy.

Bless you today and God's Grace be with you!

Disclaimer:: Although I have written this blog, I only did it with the purpose of teaching Purity. The famous statement that says, "It's not about Religion but about Relationship" truly inspires people to do what is right and to have a relationship with the Lord. I do believe it is not statement that will stand through fire in itself but I will have to say the spirit of the statement couldn't be more true. The purpose of saying it is to get people's eyes off of doing the impure things and on to Jesus instead. The sole purpose of the statement, right in the heart of it, is indeed true. So saying that, I just wanted folks to have a bit more knowledge. There is no need to hunt all down that say the statement, they are only doing good, but there is no problem explaining to them that there is a PURE Religion also. LOL GBU all in Jesus Name

Some people put on a front as if they are better than they really are. Richer, smarter, physically sharper. More More More than what they are or have in order to have more, more, more from you. To have your attention and your awe. To capture there audience. BUT GOD!!! BUT GOD has NO reason to put on a front for you. We can't even fathom the true nature of God. How Smart, How Wealthy, How Beautiful our Creator really is. We can't comprehend His infinite wisdom. His Foreknowledge. We can't understand His ways 100% yet the one who has no reason to put on a front humbled Himself to be a man like you and I. Then to top that off, He gave His precious life in the place of ours so we don't have to suffer for eternity. What an awesome God we serve. What a privilege we have in His presence. Some people think that being faithful is to finish what you have started. "Finish what you have started" really, that is faithfulness? No! What if you without knowing started to build hay and stubble thinking you are doing the work of the Lord. Then God tells you to stop, but to continue your faithfulness you continue in the work. What now is faithfulness? Did it profit anything at all? Nope! Just gets burned.

Just because you have started something doesn't mean you need to see it through till the end. In fact, in God's Kingdom many workers, led by God's Spirit, will make the heavy load light. Even if you are building with silver, gold and precious stones, God is still in control, you need to be humble enough to stop when He says stop. His Kingdom also isn't a one man show. One man plants, and another waters but God gives the increase. You may start a project and another finishes it, but its God's Spirit that needs to be directing both in order for there to be an increase.

Its about God and not about you. He has prepared Kingdom assignments for us to work together. Don't do it on your own. Be faithful to God and not to your own"Finish what I have started" ego. God is not in the business to make you look good, but in the business to destroy darkness, to save the Lost, heal the sick, and put to shame the works of the evil one. The cross was to unite us and not to divide us. A kingdom divided against itself will surely fall, but a nation with one language and one mind can do anything. So we need to speak the same language do the same work. That work isn't yours its God's, it's His plan. That language is the language of Love. Just let go and let God be God. ~ Rich Cohrs

Couple very power teaching on loosing and regaining God's anointing. Also a few of my favorite worship songs as well.

An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.."
The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"
"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist. "How about why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled smugly.
"OK," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?"
The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea."
To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death, when you don't know crap?" And then she went back to reading her book.

Psalm 139:7-12
New International Version (NIV)
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

David said in verse 10, "Even there your hand will guide me". Think about that. You can't hide from God's Spirit. He is everywhere. People often say, "It just feels like God left me, like He isn't with me anymore. He is disgusted with me and left." Or, "I am so far away from the Lord right now, I don't know how to get back." The reason why we say these things is because of the darkness, but like verse 12 says "EVEN" the darkness will not be dark to you, the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you." And then again Even there your hand will guide me.

You see your not hidden in the darkness like God can't see you. He is with you, He never left you. He is just waiting for you to follow His leading. Even there your hand will guide me. First believe He is there cause it is true, He really is, then trust Him and take His hand and let Him lead you. Even there, right there, where you are, Take his Hand and let Him lead.

Your GREATEST Calling in Life is not to be a mother, father, wife, husband, Business man or woman, or anything related. Your greatest calling is not ministering to each other. Your Greatest calling is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Gods anointing to do all those other things comes with your deep relationship with Him.

You have to step into His presence and keep walking further. The veil was torn from top to the bottom for a reason. That reason is YOU! Your greatest calling is a priest of Most High God, but different than the priest of the old testament. They "STOOD" continuously offering the sacrifices of the people; and Jesus with one Sacrifice perfected the old testament priesthood then "SAT DOWN" at the right hand of the Father in the Heavenly places. That priesthood ended that day. Sacrifice was perfected, so what kind of priest are you? The type that stays in the temple offering himself to God. Gods Grace is on you to enter behind the Veil. His calling on your life is to do just that.

While you are in the presence of Jesus, Gods glory will get all over you. Like when Moses spent time with God on the mountain. When he came down people couldn't even look at his face cause it shined so bright the Glory of God. Moses had to put a Veil on His own face that day. But that Glory faded away. We have a covenant with the Father and we as Son's and Daughter's can come freely into His presence. Offering yourself Continually to the Lord, and ministering to Him will produce a living and abiding anointing. You will walk in greatness. You speak with authority. When you pray you will pray with faith. Unlike Moses the Glory doesn't have to fade away. If the Glory is fading away its because you are walking away. Lets learn to give up somethings to be with the Lord. Spend time with Him, it is well worth it. God Loves you, so Love on God! Bless Ya!

Questions #1 How are our sins forgiven through Jesus? Jesus said if you forgive others others God will forgive you so God was already forgiving people before Jesus died.

Question #2 Also aren’t we all God’s Children?

Question #3 John 6:65 Jesus says no one can come to me unless the father enables him. What does that mean to you?

Answer:   Well first of all these are very common questions and I am going to try answer them all in one letter. So Here WE GO!

To answer the first question we have to understand two things, Man’s fallen nature and Old Testament Sacrifice. We will start with the present nature of the human spirit. We all know that as you age through life there is going to be an end of all to your bodies. (scripture about spirit renewed day by day) They are decaying day by day. One day there is not going to be any life whatsoever in your flesh. But the human spirit is eternal. That means it will always exist. You may be wondering why is it important to know Jesus if your spirit will always exist. Reason why is because Jesus is the key factor of “WHERE” your spirit will exist. (Lazors drops water on tongue) I don’t want to live a black and white life with no gray area’s in everything I do but in this case there is no in between. Two locations your spirit has a place to dwell. Bad news first, one place your spirit may dwell for eternity is in hell (not a brimstone preacher, but I don’t comprise the scriptures either).  Torment for eternity, a place that was created for the fallen angels, but now also for those who don’t trust in Jesus. Now for the Good News, the second place for your spirit to dwell is in a BRAND NEW(if you like comics books movies then you will like this. Lol)  awesome spiritual body in Heaven. This is scriptural, and I will post the scripture for you. This body is indestructible, can’t be broken and doesn’t decay. God has only given us a little knowledge about this but made it O’ so clear. Thank you God for you coming blessing!

Ok still haven’t answered the full question so I will continue. Lets look at Genesis for a bit to find out more about the human spirit. You know the story, and if you read some of my other letters this is going to be a bit of a repeat. All the way back to Adam is where we are going with this one. Most of you are Americans and most of you have heard the story sooooo many times and you might be thinking why it’s even relevant. Here We GO! First of all, it was God the Father who created the Earth and Heaven and everything that was in them. He also created man in his image. The first man Adam, and first woman Eve. Took Eve right out of the poor little mans side. So these two humans were the first of many. They walked among the earth, and God gave them dominion in all the earth. They were Earth’s rulers. With all this God only gave them one command. He gave them all kinds of tree’s to eat from but one tree was off limits. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil (bad tree, lol). Lets look at the Scripture.

Genesis 2:17(NASB) but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the “DAY” that you eat from it you will “SURELY DIE”.” (emphasis by me)

Notice what I highlighted, DAY, and SURELY DIE. You know the story Adam and Eve ate. Then there eyes were open and we know Adam lived another 900 years. God doesn’t lie. Never has and never will. Everything He says is truth. According to the scriptures He is the Spirit of Truth. Adam died that same day. So did Eve. There bodies continued on and so did there spirits but they weren’t the same. They were separated from their Creator for eternity. That is what spiritual death is. There spirit no longer possessed LIFE eternal. But instead lost a part of God that day. Without that missing part you and me will not be able to have life after death. After our bodies fully give out on us, we are stuck with eternity whether you like it or not. If your spirit stays in the state that Adams was after he sinned, which God the Father called Death, then you will not see Eternal LIFE. But the Good news is that Jesus is Eternal Life (scripture). He is the Way to the Father, He is the Truth and the LIFE.

So now we are ready to get started. How are our sins taken away by Jesus? Well here is the deal, from the very beginning sacrifices had to be sacrificed all through the scriptures to remove the sin. But it was continually done. Certain times of the month, certain holy days, sacrifices were sacrificed for the sins of the people. Once a year there was a Passover Lamb the was for the Passing over of death. The only problem with this lamb during the Passover is that it wasn’t perfect, if it were then there would have been no more need for sacrifice at ALL. There would have been no reason to have the Jewish priesthood anymore. But we know the sacrifice continued from month to month and year to year, and on holy days.

Both New Testament and Old Testament speaks about the Lamb that takes away the sins of the World. Jesus is the Lamb of God According to Scripture. You see these animals couldn’t really be in place of our sins. There blood was pleasing to God for a short while but God was demanding peace between man and Himself. God wanted to draw men closer. God needed a perfect lamb without spots or blemish to be the perfect sacrifice for mankind’s sins. The only candidate for the job was Jesus Christ himself. God spoke in every book of the bible about this Lamb, about this Messiah, about His Son and our Lord. Jesus himself spoke of this sacrifice that would be made. John the Baptist declared this of Him.

John 1:29 (NKJ) The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God that Takes away the sin of the world! This is He (Jesus) of whom I  said, After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me. I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I come baptizing with water.” And John bore witness, saying “I saw the spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. I did not know Him, but He(God the Father) who sent Me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ “And I have seen and testified that this is the SON OF GOD.”

He is worthy. He is perfect. A sinless man according to scriptures and according to the Spirit of God. He is the Lamb that is to take away the SIN of the world. You noticed that when I typed the previous scripture I underlined sin. Notice that sin has no (s) behind it, but instead indicates that this is sin in general, ALL SIN. No need for several different sacrifices. Just one perfect one. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This topic has so many different angles that we could go and could go much further into the scripture I am going to stop right there and if you have any questions post a comment. But just remember when Jesus died He was the perfect Lamb.

To Answer the second part of the first question. Jesus said if you forgive others others God will forgive you so God was already forgiving people before Jesus died. Well this is true God was already forgiving people before Jesus died. But if you remember in the previous paragraphs about the sacrifices, they were for the forgiveness of the men’s sins. The problem was is that God thought it was evil for a man to come to him with a sacrifice and ask Him to forgive the him even though they had not forgiven those who had wronged them. This context comes from the book of John as well. John was speaking to a bunch of Jewish people who practiced the tradition of sacrificing animals for there sins. Jesus was profoundly stating that even sacrifice alone could never take away your sin, cause you have hatred in your heart for another person. The sacrifices were conditional. You can’t trick God. God requires purity of heart and humility. You couldn’t just come to God with a sacrifice and yet are not even sorry for the person you wronged. God wanted them to have faith in Him, to truly Fear Him. When they brought sacrifices it was supposed to be with repentance. If you truly loved your brother and you would have forgiven him as well. Unfortunately that wasn’t always the case. Man formed religion and it became more a duty than a worship. They brought there sacrifices cause they were raised to do it. Some of them wasn’t sorry about anything. This wasn’t faith which brings us to the next question.

Got another new pic so I thought I would just add it here. Feb 2012, hey the last one was from the 14 months ago. I guess one pic a year is good enough. LOL

FINALLY I have a new profile picture.

Sunday, September 20

The only way a true Christian can FIND purpose is by the mercy of God revealing it to him. The only way to WALK in purpose is by the mercy of God allowing you to be completely dead and lifeless in your own purpose and life so the same resurrection power that gave Jesus life on the 3rd day will cause you to walk in completeness of the newness of life in Christ completely surrender and completely a NEW MAN. That is the true purpose of a Christians life and when you reach that purpose all the rest either doesn't matter any more because it just seems to fall in place or is quickly revealed when the need to know arises. When skilled in walking in the Spirit purpose is given but usually in part. Just enough to lead us and everything else is just revealed as we walk in the right directions on a need to know basis. We see in part and know in part with prophecy, so the same could be said of knowing our purpose. That is how God works. He wants us to walk by ultimate FAITH. Destiny was meant to be walked into by the Spirit, not completely revealed. Even in the Book of Revelations we see in part although some high-minded individuals seem to have it all figured out. Beware of those. We don't know the end from the beginning. Jesus does! Get close to the Author and Finisher of your faith (Jesus Christ) and fear of the future will diminish.

Fear spiritual paralyzes us to not walk in the Spirit. Fear will always be there but you have to remember that you are not of the same spirit as fear. You have been delivered from that fear. You have received a new spirit in the new birth that causes you to have the same boldness Jesus had to fulfill his purpose and destiny while on the earth. You have not received the spirit of fear again to bondage. You have received Gods spirit full of power, love, and self-discipline. Godly discipline will always lead us to the same direction. DEATH! TO BE BURRIED in Christ daily so we can walk in the newness of the Spirit who is full of power and love. Our purpose fulfilled has many directions and many turns and curves but one thing is for sure it will always be to love our God with all our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves. The Golden rule is fulfilled by walking in the Spirit. John the apostle was one of the most powerful of all the apostles and it was said that his message of Love was still preach by his own mouth with simplicity right before his death. He simply preached, "Love is the fulfillment of the Law. Love God and Love your neighbor". So simple but so impossible without the mercy of God to allow us to completely die daily and live as a completely NEW MAN. For we have received Gods Spirit FULL of POWER, L O V E, and a DISIPLINED MIND.

So the BIG Question is, "How do we do this?" Great question! Most of it we don't. Most of it God does to us and through us. Philippians 1:6 (New American Standard Bible) 6For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. He, Jesus, is the one who will do it; He is the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith. So what do we do in the meantime? Another great question! Like I said before in the first paragraph, "He wants us to walk in ULTIMATE Faith!"  Soooooo, how do we do that? So full of good questions. The answer is different everyday. You must find that out for yourself. I don't know your purpose or your destiny so therefore I can't truly tell you how to walk by faith. So was it pointless for me to write all this for you? NO! If God does everything in and through you and He is faithful to finish the work he started in you, all you have to do is be faithful to obey every time the chance comes up. Every time you feel His leading. Every time you hear His voice. The Ultimate Question now arises. HOW, if I don't feel His leading, and don't hear His voice can I obey? My ultimate point is the answer to this question. TRUST n HIM!!!! He knows what He is doing. Have you ever gone rafting in a river before? It is possible to go upstream for a short while with much perseverance but ultimately you work to hard, sweat to hard, and eventually give up and flow in the same direction as the river flows. God has a river flowing from His thrown. We must trust Him. Quit fighting against Him and flow with Him in the direction of His River. His river flows differently every day we must jump in without a life perseveres, without a paddle, and quit trying to go our own way. Jump in and rest. The River will take you everywhere you need to go. To answer your question your only part in your destiny and purpose starts with absolute surrender to the King of Kings. In a country that is ruled by a King, if a citizen is working against the King he is no longer a citizen but an enemy. Don't work against God but work with Him. He is the King of Kings. The Ruler of the universe and every knee including all earthly kings will bow before Him and his thrown. Why wait till you have to. Do it know.

Take steps to surrender to God today. You have heard it before. Discipline is the key to being a disciple. You have also heard to read your bible daily, pray daily. This is true, but can be religiously done with no results to a true relationship with the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 (New American Standard Bible) says, 31Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Waiting upon the Lord is a very important discipline in a true Christian's life. When you pray do you only pray for yourself. Is there life in your prayers? Wait for Gods Spirit in prayer to begin to move you. He will lead you. He knows how to pray better and more effective then you. He knows what really needs to be prayed and who needs to be prayed for. When you pray do you just pray for a certain set time and then say bye and that's it or do you WAIT for a response from the Lord. When you read do you only read believing the bible is true but does not relate to your life. Do you believe that it is God speaking to you? When you read know God wants to teach you and speak to you. Those times are times of refreshing, strengthening, and fulfillment. It is like the times in the wilderness during Moses time when every morning supernaturally God supplied bread for food in the morning called Manna. Jesus said, "I am the true bread who has come down from heaven." The truth is many read and pray yet never receive true strength from the Lord. Wait for his Word, it is what feeds you and gives you strength for the day. Those who wait on the Lord will gain NEW strength. Sore with God through the wind. Trust God in his river.  Run and don't get tired. Walk and don't become weary. Notice all this is in God's control except waiting on the Lord. That is all you are required to do. Don't discipline religion in your life. Discipline surrender in your life. Trust him. Give yourself daily to him. Fall in his river and He will push you to the finish line of your destiny in God.

The more and more you spend with God in prayer and not just your self in prayer and the more you allow God to teach you in His Word and speak to you, the easier it will get. For a short while you will probably swim upstream then flow with God down stream and start swimming upstream again. Trust me on this, just be faithful to jump in that river daily, soon you will get tired of swimming upstream and will rest in God downstream in His perfect plan. You may say, " I am to sinful to be with God daily." I would say, "Oh really!" Since when did sin become the problem? Isaiah the prophet whom I quoted earlier was a sinful man, yet he trusted in God to clean him up. He told God he was a man of unclean lips so there was no way he could speak the oracles of God. He was wrong God cleaned him up. He accepted the call to wait on the Lord. God cleaned him up all by Himself and Isaiah became one of the boldest prophets of all times. When you jump in Gods River, His River will cleanse you. Jesus washed the feet of the apostles one day and when He came to Peter's feet, Peter began to swim upstream and said, "Not so Lord, I will not let you clean my feet." Jesus pretty much said you would have no part of me unless you let me do this and that you are already clean by the Words that I speak to you. You see it is Jesus that cleans us. It is His Word that cleanses us. Ephesians says that we are clean by the washing of the water of the Word. Where do you think that water is found? Praise God it is in that river. Faithfully jump in everyday. Even jumping in will begin to clean you, but when you finally get in and stop trying to swim upstream and flow with God in it, the ultimate cleansing happens. Get in, many are already there. Plenty of help from other who are surrendered are all around you. Let them help you trust. But ultimately trust in God. Whether you run, walk, swim, or sore like wings of eagles, you have to trust God and quite fighting against him. WAIT upon Him for strength and do very little in your own strength. Daily surrender by asking God to help you. God gives mercy GRACEFULLY to anyone who asks. God is Good and is worthy of your praise today. Swim with author and finisher of your Faith. Trust in God and He will make you a brand NEW MAN. You will walk in the resurrection power of the Spirit in the newness of the Spirit. You will Sore to your Destiny. God Bless!!

Is life really like a box of Chocolates? Do you really not know what you are going to get?

When you think of this statement written by the great theologian Forest Gump it almost sounds believable and many people actually believe it. But if you begin to think harder about it you start to realize that it is not true. Ever had a disapointing Christmas where you just wanted to be suprised but instead you got everything you new your going to get. What about the law of Gravity, "What goes up must come down". Before this was a scientific truth written in history people still new of its truth. It just took a really smart man to take credit for it. We sometime know what we are going to get in life by what we put into life. I lived a pretty rough life for a while when growing up. I was in and out of jail many times for reasons I knew I would go to jail for. Many times when doing things we know there is a consequence for we do them anyway. Iif you decide to go to the gym you are doing this knowing that you will loose weight. So really in some cases we do know what we are going to get.

Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what your going to get. What about in the long haul? The special one to marry? Where to work? Where to live? What kind of Ministry? How about long term? We may know what life will bring when we are sowing good or bad things in our life, but what about things we haven't even sowed yet? What about way in the future. Could Forest be right? Not neccessarily, not when you have God as your Comforter and Guide who walks along side of you.

It is possible to know the future! It is possible to know all the future but most likely that won't happen. The truth is the Lord is willing to tell if we ask. He probably won't tell you all the future, in fact I don't think that are minds are capable of gathering that type of knowledge. I do know that God is willing to shed light in our confused blindfolded paths of life.

What is wisdom? Some people think wisdom is a wise saying that some very old Chinese guy writes on a fortune cookie. Others think that it consist only in words from people who are well in age considered wise. Here's the deal. Wisdom is the abilty to use knowledge. In other words wisdom is what we have to invent or prevent certain things to happen or not happen. Knowing that walking in front of a moving car could get you killed, wisdom would tell you to use that knowlege for your own good. Don't walk in front of a moving vehicle. Many more illustrations I could give you here but I want to talk about a different wisdom.

Wisdom is also a foreknowledge. It is a gaze into the future. God created the worlds with wisdom. He was able to see beforehand his creation and decided it was good and worth creating. This same kind of knowledge is given to us at certain times to encourage us for the future.

James 1:5 (New American Standard Bible)

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

When Jesus had allready died and resurrected he met up with Peter and all the other Apostle's on the beach for a quick brunch. Yummy fish for breakfast, LOL. After telling Peter what it means to Love Him, he began to give him some wisdom about the future.

John 21:18-19 (New King James Version)
18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish." 19 This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."

Wow Jesus really told him. He told him of the future that would be in his life. He let him know how he would die. We may try to predict how we will die but this wasn't a self-made prediction. This really happened. Historical writtings have been found that state that Peter was arrested and crucified stretch out on a cross upside down. This wasn't a guestimation this was exact. This was foreknowledge. This kind of wisdom is a wisdom you can't normally gather from facts of knowledge like the previous wisdom we discussed. This wisdom is from above. From the Father of Lights. The one who created the World and everything in it with all it's magnificent details.

Let me give you one more similar example:

Acts 21:10-14 (New King James Version)
10 And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 When he had come to us, he took Paul's belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, "Thus says the Holy Spirit, 'So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.'"
12 Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."
14 So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, "The will of the Lord be done."

This is that wisdom from above. Again God speaks to another one of His faithful servants and tells them about the trials that await them. The scriptures above were written at the end of Pauls last missionary journey on the way to Jerusalem. Again this truly happened and you can read about it a few chapters later. This again was foreknowledge given by God. But why wasn't Paul scared. Well Agabus was just confirming the wisdom that was allready in Pauls heart. Chapter 20 Paul tells the ephesian elders that he doen't know what will happen in Jerusalem, but that the Holy Spirit had been testifying to him in every city that he was traveling too, that bonds and afflictions await him. The Holy Spirit was allready speaking to him a head of time. God was giving him foreknowledge. He was giving him wisdom. He was preparing his heart. Lets look even further in the past and we would see that right after Pauls conversion to Chirst at the famous Road to Damascus God was already preparing his heart with foreknowlege. While he was struck with blindness because of the scales on his eyes God promises another disciple of Chirst that He would show Paul the things he must suffer for the name of Chirst.

Acts 9:10-19 (New King James Version)

10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, "Ananias."
And he said, "Here I am, Lord."
11 So the Lord said to him, "Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 12 And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight."
13 Then Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name."
15 But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name's sake."
17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus,[a] who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." 18 Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
19 So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

I hope you see the point that I am trying to get across. A quick look again at the above passages. Not only did God promise foreknowlege or wisdom to Paul about his future, but he was doing the same for Ananias. Ananias recieved a vision from God. Again It wasn't a guestimation it was exact. Ananias followed the instructions and wisdom given by God and it worked out perfectly. Every thing that was said in the vision came to pass. At the same time Ananias was having a vision, Paul was to. Everything that saw in the vision came to pass. God is sooooo good.

This wisdom is what is available to you and me. The other day I had a dream about a friend of mine and things that were going on in his/her life. The Lord showed me in the dream that I knew how to minister to him/her but that I shouldn't becuase it would cause more problems in the long run. Sure enough that same day that friend confided in me with the exact problem that I had seen in my dream. I was able to respond in obedience to the Lord. God is good, I didn't even ask for this wisdom. Other times I have prayed and asked God to know certain things pertaining the future and He would respond, sometime almost immediatly. Sometimes almost unbelievable. Sometimes I second guess that the Lord speaks to me. We must not doubt. We must believe and be willing to be obedient. Ask and you shall recieve freely.

Go ahead ask him anything. Don't give up. Expect to hear from him.

James 1:5 (New American Standard Bible)

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

God Bles all of you,

Richard Cohrs

FYI: just in case your were wondering, guestimation is a word. I thought I made it up but I happened to find it on http://www.urbandictionary.com/. LOL
